Manley radial tension design (RTD) groove lock spacers have replaced the old-school, dimpled style pieces. Our pistons requiring G/L spacers are manufactured with a receiver groove within the oil ring groove where the RTD G/L spacers snap into place. The radial tension prevents rotation.
